Dataseam Receives $3,500,000 from Kentucky General Assembly
These funds will continue ongoing initiatives led by Dataseam directed at mainly rural and underrepresented public students in K-12 districts statewide.
Established in 2003, the Initiative is a statewide partnership between private sector, K-12, higher education and state and federal government created to grow Kentucky-based STEM research commercialization and innovation, education and workforce development. Dataseam supports the DataseamGrid, a proprietary, statewide research computing infrastructure and directs activity to recruit and prepare a knowledge-based workforce for Kentucky.

Louisville-based Dataseam worked with the Louisville Orchestra to provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for students to attend performances of the 2024 Grammy Award-winning orchestra at locations across the state.
Kentucky schools recently participated in industry-standard technology support training, earning over $1,000,000 in advanced student computers as part of the statewide Dataseam partnership.
